Tsunami Debris Clean-up Sign – Available for Adaptation and Use

Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission joined with some Oregon partners from the West Coast Governor’s Agreement on Ocean Health Marine Debris Alliance (Oregon Sea Grant, SOLV, and Surfrider),  a contact from Intel’s marketing division, and Oregon State Parks to develop and print a poster for outdoor posting. A message was drafted and images were chosen to encourage public assistance with tsunami debris clean-up and reporting.   This poster can now be adapted for your own use (Download a Word version)

The 18″ x 21″poster was printed on corex (corrugated plastic) which is easy to screw into sign posts etc.   As Oregon State Parks already has their own signs posted these new signs will be provided to cities and counties and others with public access ways on the beach.
The “square” design (it’s free to get a unique design for your own purposes) points to the State Park website with official tsunami debris info and links.

COST INFO:  Three hundred signs were produced by PSMFC and Oregon State Parks. The total cost was $2655.

Ours were produced by In House Graphics,1462 Commercial Street NE,Salem, OR 97301, 503.364.5243
